Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with ideally automotive parts distribution experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of SAP experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically working with SAP EWM. A proven track record of at least 3 full lifecycle implementations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support SAP EWM in warehouse management and logistics projects.
- Participate in all phases of SAP EWM projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure that SAP EWM solutions meet business needs, especially in the automotive parts distribution industry.
- Analyze and optimize warehouse processes, distribution, and inventory control using SAP EWM best practices.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues to ensure SAP EWM operates smoothly.
- Train and mentor end-users on SAP EWM usage.
- Collaborate with other consultants and technical teams to integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Develop technical and user documentation, including manuals, reports, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of SAP experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM.
- A proven track record of completing at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM, from blueprinting to go-live.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, distribution, and inventory control processes, preferably in the automotive parts distribution sector.
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules (WM, MM, SD, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Information Systems, or related fields.
Desirable Skills:
- SAP EWM certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Background in automotive parts distribution or related industries.
